From the 1st July 2020, MMS Medical will assume overall responsibility for the assessment, sales, distribution and after care of the Rota brand of manual wheelchairs in Ireland due to the retirement of dealer principles David and Joan Diamond of Delta Orthopaedic. Both MMS Medical and Delta Orthopaedic have combined experience of over 60 years in the industry and MMS Medical have been supplying the Rota chairs in Ireland for several years. This will be a seamless transition and there will be no disruption to production, availability or supply of the product. The changeover will not affect any customers or orders. Production of the custom-built wheelchairs will continue at its’ existing manufacturing facility in Rathnew, Co. Wicklow.
The MMS Medical Product Specialists will carry out assessments and provide any information on the Rota product range and will be available for clinic support. All orders will be processed via MMS Medical as before. The MMS service and engineering team will provide the necessary aftercare, parts and service for the product going forward to customers and suppliers. The Rota chair is a popular option from many of our clients and is available from MMS Medical on HSE Contract 9233 as previously.
