Job Description – Rehabilitation Product Specialist

Territory – Ireland West

Contract – Full time

Timeframe – Immediate appointment. ( Ideally April/ May)

Office – Based out of our of Claremorris office-Co Mayo.

Full Clean Driving Licence Required.

Role

The purpose of the position is to maintain existing and develop new sales of mobility and rehabilitation equipment via clinical professionals such as occupational therapists and also direct with private customers in order to ensure sales targets are met. This to be achieved by identifying, meeting and developing relations with occupational therapists and customers in order to gain sales of equipment needed.

The role involves working closely with occupational therapists, Seating Clinics & visiting / meeting their clients who are predominantly elderly and/or disabled, conducting assessments of their needs and proposing equipment solutions which are usually funded through the HSE.

In support of the above, regular contact and professional relationship building is necessary to develop and gain their clinical confidence in the company’s ability to assess and provide the most suitable equipment while maintaining a best value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Identify therapists and clinicians for potential new sales, gaining invitations to conduct client assessments with them; leading to equipment sales.
  • Promotion of our Ranges of
    • Mobility products – Manual & Power wheelchairs.
    • Bathing Products- such as shower chairs
    • Seating items- Cushions – Sensory range
    • Scooters
  • Conduct client assessments and make suitable recommendations of rehabilitation equipment in accordance with their needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date client records
  • Work with Marketing to attend and assist at events such as exhibitions / educational days.
  • Provide training for clients as and where necessary.
  • Work with colleagues in MMS to assist in the achievement of overall company objectives.
  • Attend training as and when deemed necessary to ensure knowledge and skills required to perform duties to a competent level. This training may take place through-out Ireland and UK as appropriate. It is envisaged that extensive training will be required upon appointment.
  • Operate and maintain company vehicle in a clean, presentable and professional appearance at all times and in full accordance with company and legal requirements.

Remuneration Package

  • Basic Salary (negotiable depending on experience and current package)
