Model Options

Protac Ball Blanket® Junior is recommended for children aged 1-5 years. This size is available in three different models depending on the child’s sensory needs:

Protac Ball Blanket^® Flexible, Junior

Protac Ball Blanket^® Flexible serves a compensatory function for disabilities and is particularly suitable for children who have difficulties in sensing their own bodies and in lying still to fall asleep. The balls in the blanket are divided into compartments so that the balls can move and provide a dynamic sensory stimulation. The balls stimulate the proprioceptive and tactile senses through deep and dynamic pressure, which enhances the body awareness and helps the child to fall asleep more easily.

The Flexible blanket consists of 5 removable ball bags, which make it easy to disassemble and wash it in a regular washing machine

Protac Ball Blanket^® Calm Junior

Protac Ball Blanket^® Calm serves a compensatory function for disabilities and is particularly suitable for children who have difficulties in sensing their own bodies and in lying still to fall asleep. The balls in the Calm-model are sewn into channels, and the balls stimulate the proprioceptive and tactile senses through deep and dynamic pressure, which enhances the body awareness and helps the child to fall asleep more easily. Being sewn into channels, the balls give a uniform, predictable and modest sensory stimulation. The Calm blanket is especially suitable for children with tactile defensiveness, extreme sound sensitivity or those who are easily overstimulated by the impressions of the day.

The blanket swaddles closely to the body and provides a calm and modest sensory stimulation and helps children with a need for  clearly defined input to sense themselves and calm down.

Protac Ball Blanket^® Classic Junior

Protac Ball Blanket^® Classic serves a compensatory function for disabilities and is particularly suitable for children who have difficulties in sensing their own bodies and in lying still to fall asleep. The balls in the blanket are divided into compartments so that the balls can move and provide a dynamic sensory stimulation. The balls stimulate the proprioceptive and tactile senses through deep and dynamic pressure, which enhances the body awareness and helps the child to fall asleep more easily.

Protac Ball Blanket^® Classic is very similar to Protac Ball Blanket^® Flexible but the ball bags cannot be removed. This can be necessary for security reasons for some children. Due to the size, the Classic-model must be washed in an industrial washing machine.
